The week of all dangers

It started with the full moon and a slew of people fell under its nefarious spell. Houssaine had a hernia, Laurence’s mother was hospitalized, yours truely went nearly nuts, trying to intern himself in a psychiatric ward of La Selpetriere. No chance. No papers.

I was literarlly debarred of offering a service, of working. Why? Because once you are an author, you cannot be an administrator of websites. Soit. But it took a whole week to find out pourqoui.

It started with my fearful search for setting up a company. Any company. Next came, on Monday, a call from the CCIP - French love acronyms. I went to see Caroline Gautheron who probably found the right answer, but I wasn’t sure of it.

I went to see the ANPE, restistered at the ASSEDIC, went to see the Sécurité Sociale, the URSSAF, the RMI who didn’t want to see me.

I broke down in front of the Sécurité Sociale, and still went to see l’Hotel des Impots.

I finally returned to the CCIP, who promised everything I wanted to be taken care of quickly.

To tell you that in France, never mind, just go for the person and you will find help.
