Jacques Camus

I haven’t sold a painting since the beginning of this year, complains Jacques Camus in his studio rue des Patriarches. It’s not that he’s been forgotten or that clients don’t wish to buy, since we’re there waiting for the prices to fall. But the truth is that the artworld is not doing as well as it used to. Jacques Camus, after all, is a sure fire investment, if nothing else – historic painting in a French school style.
