Bad Homburg

Cold. There is nothing like forgetting.

Running

Running

Every morning two miles in the park, or not? Bird calls to wake and run.

Xforms running. Workers gathering round screens, discussing the action.

Revolution or not, in two offices the heat is on.

House of the dead

On Sat Pierrot of Montmartre said, I'm not a pessimist, it's time to come out of it. Remember 60 years ago? The same or more happening…

On Sunday, freestyle, 4000m in the morning, 400 in the afternoon.

On Monday, Xforms, for the reasons of implementing xml forms. The task is hard. Dostojevsky by the bedside. The Dead House.

Xforms aren't dead, they are here to last.

M. B.

He came up to me last night and showed me the mail slots. Some geek scripting SAP spent 3 months here working at night, finally taking a room in a hotel down the street. He slept in his office if he didn't figure out the code.

This morning at 7 into the lane w/ Gaetan for a an accelerated 1600; the doctor nodded approvingly, although I said the body and the mind are not in harmony. We were all forlorn and quite alone.

Altova's xml editing suite is fancy yet restricted unless you buy the professional or enterprise version for over a thousand. The it should be easier to transform the scripts and creat .sps stylesheets.

Chicken for lunch and vegetables. Glass of white and cigar. If the days were longer… and the sun shining.

The days get longer

It seems of quintessential importance to him. The days get longer by the minute since the full moon night of a few days ago you can't call anything but a terrible passage under the clouds.

Swim 2 k then coffee w/ Gaetan, the record dealer swimmer.

Out in the country it's calm …

Unhappy holidays

Unhappy holidays

Baschet is still in town, getting younger, as though his pendulum were swinging into opposite directions. But the concertation of his friends is no longer there or the time has come to go?*

The mission becomes harder with the lack of a virtual server, the scripting of asp.net and java that you are not used to.

And the violence of a move on a day that should have been happier.

NEW YEAR !

NEW YEAR !

When days start getting longer it's time to think of NEXT YEAR.

It seems milder than yesterday in the office park outside Paris, although frost still covered plants and rails with a fine silk-like sheet.

Swim 2km filling up the endorphine that carries you along as you cross the tunnels towards the docking station. The ship dotters off heading west along the sewer lines, then emerging behind the fortress of La Defense on to the plain held by the new Roman barracks.

Remember Ben, when he said it was easy to claim art was funny, when you aren't. Or did he say it?

Party

Something like a party took place, 200 workers assembled around like a gallery opening, drinking champagne and rather bad wine. Stepped amongst them shy and lost tasting bad chardonney,  running into B who was worried about something serious: what will happen to his job once we implement the mission I'm working on. It doesn't help letting him know that I care about human relations more than – what did you call it ? – capital… when the company is only interested in making their shareholders happy.

A number of heads will roll, obviously.

Chocolate, Cigars, Champagne.

 Bonjour.

45 min from Paris; 1800 crawl in itching water. JP showed up, cracked as ever.

Squeeze into the crowd spilled out on the frost covered trottoir of the banlieu.

Docs missing. Aspx scripting and crossing fingers.

Done

Downloaded Altova XML editor.

Swimming, 7:40 at Saint Germain, JT being closed due to tech problems: 1300m. Met young swimminer for Fri.

Lunch 14:00 fresh hamburger, French fries, water -  ou-ah.

Walk in the sun, cold, wild weird, futurist landscape.

Ice on the ground.

XML,Asp.Net,CSS3,php,mysql, you name it.

Where is the team?
